You can set the model dimension in the Size section of setting dialog box. To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... and in the dialog box that appears, select System — Model editor — Size.

Section controls allow you to specify the types of model objects that should be taken into account when building its bounding box — a conditional parallelepiped which faces are parallel to the coordinate planes and pass through the most distant from each other points of model objects.

A dimensional parallelepiped is used for example:

for the operation of the command Show all (both in 3D building mode and sketch mode) — the display scale is changed so that the projection of the bounding box of the model on the screen plane fits into the graphic area,

when centering the image after changing the model orientation — the center of projection on the screen plane of the bounding box of the model coincides with the center of the graphic area.

In order to take the required type of objects into account when building the dimensioned parallelepiped of the model, enable the option to the left of the name of this type in the Take into account when determining the size list. If this option is disabled, the type of objects will not be taken into account.
If you enable the option in the Hidden objects line, hidden objects of the specified types will also participate in model dimensioning.

It is not possible to disable all options — the last enabled option will not be available for disabling.

When the gauge setting is complete, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without saving changes, click Cancel.
