Receiving parameters of surface roughness from the model. Synchronization |

The parameters of majority surface finish can be transferred to the associative drawing from the model source of associative views. They are transferred automatically when an associative view is created if the following conditions are met.
•Parameters of the majority surface finish are set in the model. Details...
•Transfer of the majority surface finish from the model is enabled in the drawing.
The sign and parameter of unspecified surface finish – values of corresponding properties of the model. You can enable/disable transfer of property values from the model to the drawing when you creation of an associative view, Filling in the title block of the drawing and Editing drawing properties. The following elements of the Parameter Panel are used for that:
•The toggle switch Connect to model properties must be set to position I (enabled),
•The list of properties transferred from the model — you should enable the options in the rows Majority Surface Finish Symbol and Parameter for Majority Surface Finish (see Figure).
The majority surface finish is transferred from the model to the drawing, regardless of whether its display in the model is enabled or disabled.
If at the time of transfer, the majority surface finish was set in the drawing, its parameters are replaced by parameters from the model.
Parameters of the majority surface finish are transferred to the drawing from the same model as all the other properties. For details on choosing the property source model...
Changes of the majority surface finish made in the model are transferred to the drawing when it is rebuilt. Request to rebuild Appears when the drawing is opened or activated.
The majority surface finish obtained from the model can be moved, edited and deleted. More details on editing and deleting majority surface finish...
Transfer of parameters of the majority surface finish in the reverse direction, i.e. from the drawing to the model, is not provided.
If you change the majority surface finish in the drawing, the transfer of its parameters from the model is stopped — the options in the Majority Surface Finish Symbol and/or Parameter for Majority Surface Finish lines of the property list will automatically be disabled. Figure).
You can resume transferring parameters of majority surface finish from the model, as well as restore the designation in the drawing, by enabling options in the required lines of the property list when editing the title block or drawing properties.
You can also resume the transmission of designation parameters if they have been changed using the command Synchronize. It's located in the symbol's context menu. After you invoke the command, the options in the corresponding rows of the property list will automatically be enabled. The symbol's parameter values in the drawing will be replaced with the parameters from the model.

If the majority surface finish resulting from the model was moved in the drawing, the position of the designation will not change after synchronization. |
