The values of the following properties displayed in the title can be transferred from the model document to the drawing:

Designation (simple – completely, compound – all parts, except the document code),

Name,

Mass:

Material (only for part drawings; if a stock part is used in the part, then You can enable indication of a blank instead of material),

Developed by, Checked by, Approved by, In-process inspection, Compliance assessment.

This information is entered in the model document — part (*.m3d) or assembly (*.a3d) — when setting its properties.

Property values are only transferred if they are defined in the model.

It is also possible to display the values of other model properties, both system and library properties, in the drawing title. To do this, you must edit the title included in the drawing design by linking its cells to the required properties. Read more...

By default, the transfer of property values from the model to the drawing is performed when the first associative view is created — the Link to model properties switch in the view parameters is in position I (on), see Transfer properties when creating a view. The values of the transferred properties are displayed in the title.

In furtherance of editing the title, you can manually change the contents of its fields transferred from the model. This will change the values of the corresponding drawing properties. These properties will lose their connection with the model.

In the main caption editing mode, you can also change the set of properties to be transferred and select another model for transfer (if the drawing contains associative views from different models).  You can also refuse  to  transfer properties from the model by setting the Link with model properties switch to 0 (disabled).  This switch is located in the Drawing properties section of  the Parameters panel.

Fields that do not receive information from the model are filled in manually. This is done in the same way as in a normal drawing.

Setting the mass display

In the mode of editing the title of an associative drawing, you can customize the mass display settings. The elements of the Mass format group, located in the Drawing properties section of the Parameters panel, are used for this purpose.

A group is present in the Parameters panel if the following conditions are met:

The Link to model properties switch is set to I (on),

in the list of drawing properties in the line Mass, the Source option is enabled.

Description of the elements of the Mass format group is given in the table.
