Decimal places |
This field allows you to specify to which digit the calculated model mass value should be rounded. Minimum number of digits — 0, maximum — 10. |
|
Mass units |
The drop-down list allows you to select the mass unit: kilograms, grams or tons. In the field next to the unit of measure you can enter an additional unit designation. This text is added to the mass value in the corresponding column of the main caption. The mass unit setting applies to both associative and non-associative drawings. The selected unit is taken into account when transferring the mass value between the BOM object and the associated drawing: if different mass units are used in the BOM and the drawing, the mass value is recalculated. The selection of the mass unit for a BOM is done when setting up the BOM. |
When the settings are complete, press the buttton Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without saving changes, click the Cancel button.
A change in the number of decimal places or unit of measure made for the current drawing will be reflected in its main caption.
You can also customize the settings for displaying the mass in the main caption in the the process of editing the main caption of the associative drawing. The elements of the Mass format group in the Drawing Properties section of the Parameter panel perform the same functions as the dialog box controls listed in the table.
