Default font |
A list for selecting the default font to be used for text and tables in the document. When you change the setting, the document objects are automatically rebuilt. If a custom font was selected for an object when creating or editing it, changing the default font in the setup dialog box has no effect on it. |
Preview |
The field is used to display a sample of the selected font. |
A list for selecting the unit of length in the current graphic document: millimeters, centimeters, or meters. The selected unit will be used to display command parameters (e.g. length or radius), coordinates, cursor step, automatically generated nominals and dimensional deviations. |
The length units setting does not apply to the Variables panel. All linear values (e.g., linear dimensions) displayed in this panel are converted to millimeters; all values entered to calculate such quantities are considered to be set in millimeters. |
Decimal separator |
List for selecting a decimal separator, a character that will be used to separate the integer part from the fractional part in values displayed in decimal format. The decimal separator can be a comma or a period. The setting applies to: •displaying values, including deviations and limits in decimal dimensioning captions, •displaying references to property values in captions, BOMs, reports, and version tables.. |
The character entered as a decimal separator when manually entering/editing a value is replaced by the character according to the setting after the input is completed. |

A list for selecting the method of grouping layers in the current graphic document. The following methods are available: •Group layers — in the document will be available to create and use layer groups and layer filters. •Group layer properties — in the document will be available to create and use layer property groups. •Group layer properties and inherit the composition of the parent object — in the document will be available to create and use layer property groups with automatic inclusion of the parent object's layers in the layer property group. The parent object is the document, view or group where a new layer property group is created. •if the parent object is a property group, all the layers of this group with their settings will be copied to the new group, •if the parent object is a view, the new group will contain all layers of this view and their properties, •if the parent object is a document (the root object of the Document tree), the new group will contain all layers of all types. |
Changing the way of grouping in a document leads to irreversible changes of created groups and filters. For more details, see Basic principles of working with layer sets. |
