• When working with graphic, text document or BOM it is available to select from the coontext menu the command Parameters... •If the parameters of all documents and their objects should differ from the current default parameters, you can not customize each document separately, but make it so that all new documents are created at once with the required settings. To do this, create a new document of the required type, customize it in the required way and save it as a template. You can select a template manually when creating documents or customize the system so that a template is selected automatically. |
All customizable parameters can be divided into two groups with two subgroups in each group according to their effect on the objects of the current document. The number of the subgroup to which this or that parameter belongs is specified in the descriptions of customization dialogs
1.Document parameters — parameters that cannot be controlled when creating objects.
1.1 Parameters defining external features of objects, which must be the same for all objects of this type existing in one document. Changing these parameters applies to both existing objects and newly created objects.
1.2. Parameters that affect the availability of certain features when creating objects. Changing these parameters does not affect existing objects, but affects the process of creating new.
2.Object parameters — parameters, which can be controlled when creating objects.
2.1. Parameters that define default values of the same name parameters of objects. Changing them leads to changing the default setting of new objects. Existing objects are not changed. To change the value of parameters of this subgroup for existing objects, you must edit these objects.
2.2. Analogous to the parameters of the previous subgroup, but have one difference: after their change, the new values are transferred to those of the existing objects that were created with default values of the corresponding parameters. All these objects are redrawn. Those objects whose values of parameters of this subgroup were changed manually during creation or editing remain the same. To change these parameters for objects, you must edit the objects.
