Controls of the reductions model display setting section

Element

Setting description

Level of detail

The control allows you to set the level of detail of the model components and solids when the simplified display mode is active.

To change the level of detail, move the «slider» between the leftmost (largest level of detail) and rightmost (smallest level of detail) positions. The smaller the level of detail, the larger the components or solids become parallelepipedic and the faster the position (scale) of the model changes.

Object search delay, ms

During dynamic search the model object is highlighted not immediately, but only after the cursor stops on it. The field allows you to enter the delay value (in milliseconds) — the time interval during which the cursor should be on the object before the dynamic search is triggered.

When image is changing

The options group allows you to enable or disable additional reductions that will take effect in the simplified display mode during the following image changes:

shift and rotate the model with the mouse or by using the Shift and Rotate commands,

changing the orientation and scale of the model if smoothness is enabled,

shifting and rotating components.

The static image of the model is not affected by the state of the options in this group.

Hide:

Structural axes, planes etc.,

3D curves,

Control points,

Cosmetic threads,

Dimensions and symbols,

Diagnostics objects

Options that control the display of corresponding objects when changing the image.

The Design axes, planes, etc. option controls the display of design axes and planes, coordinate systems and sketches.

Disable mode «Shaded wireframe»

The option allows you to control the use of the specified type of model mapping. If this option is enabled, then for those components or bodies that have not turned into parallelepipeds, halftone mapping with wireframe (if it was enabled) is disabled when changing the image.

Disable highlighting of highlighted objects

The option allows to disable highlighting of selected objects (except for edges) during image change.

If the option is disabled, the selected objects remain highlighted.

Presence or absence of selected edges does not affect the speed of image change.

To finalize the simplified display settings, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without saving changes, click Cancel.
