Model geometry analysis |
Scroll |
Checking the correctness of the model geometry at the design stage allows you to detect building errors. For example, the presence of open edges on the body, self-intersections inside the face, coinciding edges, etc. In addition, you can analyze the geometry according to specified criteria — check the deviation of the body edges from parallelism to the coordinate axes, the presence of edges, protrusions, cutouts of critically small size.
The object of verification can be a separate element of the model geometry (sketch, curve, etc.), assembly component, assembly. The verification is performed for all elements included in the object.
Verification parameters can be saved in the model. The corresponding object is located in the Model tree in the Diagnostics
in the Geometry check subsection.
.
If necessary, you can delete the Diagnostics
or a separate object in the section. To do this, select the desired section/object in the Design tree and press the <Delete> call the Delete command from the Edit menu or from the context menu. After calling the command, a dialog box will appear on the screen listing the objects to be deleted. You can confirm the deletion or refuse it.
