Automatic export to JT |
If this option is enabled, whenever you save a model, it is written to disk not only in KOMPAS-3D format (a3d, m3d, t3d), but also in JT format. When this option is enabled, the rest of the dialog controls become available. Note that saving to the JT format is performed both when File —Save command is called and in all other cases of model saving. For example, if you write to a new file a model with sizes recalculated with tolerances, a copy of the model in JT format is created at the same time. The name of the resulting file consists of the name of the source file and a suffix that repeats the extension of the source file. This ensures that files of the same name for parts and assemblies do not replace each other. For example, the file with the result of exporting the Bracket.m3d model would be named Bracket_m3d.jt. |

Catalog |
The drop-down list allows you to select a folder for writing copies of the model in JT format. The following options are available •Catalog... - folder for writing copies of the model is selected by the user. If the folder for recording does not coincide with the folder where the original model is located, the export is performed by copying the full path to the file. • For example, if you are working with the document d:\Work/gearbox.a3d and the export folder is g:\JT, the copy will be written as g:\JT\d\Work/gearbox_a3d.jtIn •In the same catalog with document - this option allows you to explicitly refuse to save copies in the folder specified before. If you select this option , the copy will be written to the same folder as the document. |
