Setting the rendering color of the system (standardly supported) KOMPAS-3D) for characters is performed in the section System symbols color of setting dialog box.
To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... 
and in the dialog box that appears, select System — Graphic editor — System symbols color.

To the right of each symbol name is a field with its current color. To change the color of a symbol, click in the field. Changing the color changes the appearance of the symbol in the view window. |
After completing the settings, click the dialog box Apply and close. To exit the dialog box without changing the settings, click Cancel.
