Launching KOMPAS-3D |

To start using the system, run the command KOMPAS-3Dfor mechanical engineering and instrument engineering.
To launch KOMPAS-3D click on his icon in the group KOMPAS-3D v25 x64, the operating system created during installation in the Start menu.
If the launch KOMPAS-3D is performed for the first time, the main window of the system will appear on the screen, in which there is not a single open document. The Start page is displayed in the window. To display the interface elements for working with a document, open a document. (See the section Document opening).
After starting KOMPAS-3D, the state existing at the end of the previous session (loaded documents, window size and position, etc.) is automatically restored.

If the previous session ended in a crash (power outing, etc.) and autosaving was enabled, then the previously opened documents will be restored at startup using the temporary copies. |

There is a possibility to launch KOMPAS-3D with simultaneous document opening, for example, by double-clicking the document file name in file manager. In this case, please keep the following in mind. After launching the system KOMPAS-3D documents opened in the previous session are not loaded. If documents were opened during a session started in this way, information about this is not saved after the session ends. |
