Selecting faces based on conditions

To select a face and its tangents, set the Tangent Faces condition on the Quick Access Toolbar and specify the face.

The following will be selected: the specified face and the group of adjacent faces that include it, which are smoothly connected or tangent to one another.

The angular tolerance for contact, at which the faces are considered suitable for selection, is adjustable.

The selected faces are combined into a set. The set name includes the selection criteria for the faces and the number of faces in the set. Learn more about face sets...
