Excluding objects from a macro element |
Scroll |
To exclude objects from a macroelement, use the Exclude Geometry
command. This command is available in macroelement edit mode.
Procedure
1.Select the objects you want to exclude from the macro element.
When the cursor hovers over them, the objects are highlighted in the graphics area. After selection, the objects are transferred to the document in the same view as the macro element. Excluded objects are displayed using the background view rendering style.
Objects remain on the layer of a single-layer macroelement or on their own layers if it is multi-layered.
|
If a macro element contains nested macro elements, each of them is extracted and transferred to the document in its entirety, that is, as a single object. If you need to exclude geometry from a nested macro element, switch to edit mode for that macro element. |
2.To finish the task, click the Finish
button.
|
You can specify the objects to be excluded from the macro before executing the command. |
