You can configure the display of the list of recently opened documents in the Recent section of the settings dialog.

To access this section, select the Settings command — Parameters... and in the dialog box that appears, select System — Files — Recent.

The Show recent documents list on the start page option controls whether a list of recent documents is displayed. By default, this option is enabled, and the list of recently opened documents appears on the start page, as well as in the File — Recent menu and in the start page button menu.

When this option is disabled, the list of recent documents is cleared, and documents opened after that are neither saved nor displayed in the list. Please note that this option can be disabled not only manually — via the dialog box — but also automatically when you select the Show Recent List command in the list of recent documents on the start page.

Once you have finished configuring the settings, click the Apply and close button. To exit the dialog without saving your changes, click the Cancel button.
