Configuring various system parameters KOMPAS-3D is performed in the section System of setting dialog box.

To access the section, call the command Settings — Parameters... and select System in the dialog boxthat appears.  Then specify the required item in the list and make the setting using the controls on the right side of the dialog box.

Saving and resetting system settings

After closing the settings dialog by clicking the Apply and close button, the system settings are automatically saved to *.cfg file and used in the next session.

In addition, the current system settings can be saved to a *.pfl file and then loaded from it.

If you need to restore your system settings KOMPAS-3D By default, run the command Settings — Reset..., and in the dialog box that appears, enable the System Settings and click the Reset button. After that, the settings in the System section of the configuration dialog will be reset to their default values.
