With an Empty load type, the component is not loaded, i. e. it cannot be seen in a graphic area. It is seen only in the Assembly build tree, without possibility to view the component contents.
In the Design Tree, the Empty load type is displayed with the icon 
.
If the component is placed in the model using the By matings, then after applying the load type Empty, the component is fixed in its current position (in the Feature Tree, an icon 
appears next to the component icon).
