Creating document detailing includes two main stages:

1.Creating a title block,

2.Creating a design using this title block.

You can create your own *.lyt library to place the new title block and detailing. Creating a detailing library is similar to creating a style library (see section Creating style libraries and sets).

If the created title block (detailing) is a modification of an existing one, then the latter can be used as a prototype (see section Usage of prototypes of title blocks).

Before you start creating a detailing, you need to carefully consider it. This especially applies to the title block tables, because it is very important to properly configure their cells (see sections Configuring title block table, Configure Extended Cell Format).

It is recommended to carefully test created detailing and immediately fix the detected errors. This is due to the fact that changes in detailing already assigned to documents usually take a very long time.

Since the document detailing is a rather complicated object, working with it requires certain skills. Therefore, before creating detailing that your company will use to issue documentation, it is recommended that you read section Title blocks and document detailing and its subsections.
