The mode of entering and editing the text part will be enabled after running the command which allows to insert a new BOM item (see section Adding BOM section and item) until creation of the item is confirmed.
The mode for entry and editing the text part is almost the same as the KOMPAS–3D text mode. In this mode, a line in the BOM table will be opened for editing; this line will contain the text part of the BOM item. Font and paragraph formatting commands, as well as commands for inserting fractions, index, superscript and subscript, special character, symbol and standard text, become available.
The symbols entered in the column are automatically narrowed so that they all fit in one cell. If the narrowing is too intensive, you can move some symbols to the next line. To do this, place the cursor to the wrapping point and press <Enter>. Thus, the text part of the BOM item may occupy several lines in the BOM sheet.
|
If, due to a very narrow text spacing, the text in the column Format or Zone becomes unreadable, according to GOST R 2.106-2019, it should be moved to the column Note, accompanied by the symbols *). The transfer can be performed automatically by invoking the Move to Last Column command for the desired cell from the context menu. |
The text cursor inside the cell is moved using the <→> and <←> keys. The <↑> key moves the text cursor before the first symbol in the column, and the <↓> key — after the last symbol.
Movement between columns is performed using the <Tab> key (in the left-to-right direction) or the <Shift>+<Tab> key combination (in the right-to-left direction). You can also get to the required column of the BOM object by clicking it.
To confirm the change of the text part of the BOM item and exit the edit mode, you can perform any of the following actions:
•click the Create Object
button on the Parameter Panel header,
•press <Ctrl>+<Enter>,
•click the mouse anywhere in the window outside the lines where the edited text part is placed,
•call any available command, for example, command for adding a section or item.

A special dialog is used for editing composite designations (i.e. designations that in addition to the base part contain the version number, and/or additional number, and/or document code). This dialog automatically appears on the screen when you try to enter/edit the designation in the Documentation section (because the designation in this section usually includes the document code), as well as when you try to edit the designation of the version object. Working in this dialog and the result of entering a designation are the same as when when filling in the title block. |
