Type B group BOM |
Scroll |
If the specification has the style Group BOM (less than 3 versions)..., then its table includes three columns for entering the quantity of objects (parts, assemblies).
If the specification has a style Group Specification (variant B)..., then its table contains 10 columns for entering the quantity of objects.
Inputting data into such fields Quantity makes no difference from inputting data into any other fields.

If the BOM item is not included in any product version, then for this version the Quantity column should be left empty. |
If the specified product has more than ten versions, then when creating a BOM item, several table rows will be available for data entry (according to the number of versions). In the first line, quantities are entered for versions from the main version to the ninth version, in the second line, quantities are entered for versions from the tenth to nineteenth, etc.
After confirming the item creation, the lines containing the quantity data will be split into several blocks, each of which will be preceded by the beginning of the version block — an automatically formed line indicating the version numbers, for which the quantity is entered below. If in the Variations section of the BOM settings dialog the option Place block on a new sheet is enabled, then a separate line will not be allocated for the beginning of the block. The numbers of versions for which the quantity is entered below will be shown in the "header" of the BOM table.
If the toggle Variations in the Versions section of the BOM settings dialog is set to 0 (disabled), then the beginning of the version blocks, including those located in the "header" of the table, will not be displayed in the BOM sheet.
An example of type B group BOM is shown in figure.
