When creating spline curve or broken line you can delete specified points and add new ones to existing parts of the curve (segments of the broken line). These actions are performed in the editing mode.

Adding and deleting points is possible both in the graphic area of the document and with the help of Parameter Panel elements.

Adding points

To add a point on the desired part of the curve (broken line segment), click on it with the mouse. A new point will appear in the place of the click, dividing the segment (segment) into two parts. It will be current. The parameters of the created point will be added to the Point parameters table.

It is also possible to add a point on a section of a curve (broken line segment) located after the selected point. Use the following procedure.

In the point parameters table, select the point after which the new point should be located, and press the <Insert> key or the "Insert vertex after current" button (this button is available on the Parameter Panel if there is at least one segment after the current point). A new point will appear on the phantom, and its parameters will appear in the point parameters table.

Deleting points

To delete a point, select it and click Delete button above the Point parameters table or <Delete> key. The point disappears, the object is rebuilt in accordance with the position of the remaining points.

You can use the same way to delete several points at the same time by selecting the corresponding rows in the table.
