Setting a material in a graphic document |

You can set Material and Density properties for graphic objects by selecting values from the density reference file or from the external Reference connected to KOMPAS-3D.

Reference file of densities Graphic.dns is incorporated in the system and located in the \\Sys subfolder of the main KOMPAS-3D folder. Users can add and edit values in this file. |
The properties of Material and Density for graphical objects can be set as follows:
•by the Drawing Properties command (Fragment Properties, Macroelement properties, etc.) in the Parameter Panel (to learn about setting property values in the Parameter Panel, see section Working with properties on the Parameters Panel);
•in the Property Editor (to learn about the Property Editor, see section Property Editor).
To set the property, highlight the cell with the property value Material and click Select material from list button 
or Select material from reference guide button 
on the toolbar.
You also can select a material from reference in the Property Editor by clicking the ellipsis button at the right of the selected Material or Density cell or by double-clicking the cell.
