Working with parameters of objects |
Scroll |
You can change parameters of separate objects or their groups using the Parameter Panels. To do this, select the object(s) using any method. The Parameter Toolbar will display the controls allowing to change some parameters of these objects.
|
When working with parameters, you can add objects to the highlighted ones or exclude them from the highlighted. |
At the top of the Parameter Toolbar, the list of types of the selected objects will appear.
•If one object or several objects of the same type are selected, the list will contain one row formed by the template Type Name - n, where "Type Name" is the name of the object type, and n is the number of selected objects of that type (see figure).
•If multiple objects of different types are selected, the list will contain multiple rows: the row All - N, where N is the total number of selected objects, and the rows Type Name - n for each type of objects.
When selecting additional objects or excluding objects from selection, the type list updates dynamically.

Changing properties of objects
The controls to specify parameters are grouped by sections. The set of controls depends on the type of the selected objects.
When editing objects of different types, note to the following feature:
•if a specific type of objects is selected in the list of types, the control set corresponds to the parameters of objects of that type,
•if the All row is selected in the list of types, the control set corresponds to the parameters which are common to all selected objects.
How to change a parameter value
To change a parameter value, do the following:
1.Click in the cell of the parameter value you need to change.
•If the value is numerical (e. g. circle radius), it will be selected, and the cell will become available for entry.
•If the value is not numerical (e. g. line type), the list of values will be opened.
•If the value is text (e. g. surface finish parameter, dimension text), the screen will display a dialog to enter the text.
•If the value is a hyperlink, the screen will display a hyperlink editing dialog.
2.Change the parameter value.
3.Confirm changing the parameter value:
•for a numerical value, press <Enter> key,
•for a text value or a hyperlink, close the dialog for entering text or editing hyperlink with the OK button,
•non–numerical values don’t need confirmation.
The object(s) will be rearranged automatically according to the new parameter value. This will leave the objects selected, and you can continue changing their parameters.
|
•If you cannot change a parameter, its cell background is grey. For example, if hatching with Region filling type is selected, then you cannot change the hatching band width until the filling type is changed to Band. •Some numerical values, for example the hatch pitch, can be both entered from the keyboard and selected from the list. |
