Codes and names |

The nomenclature of design documents is established by GOST 2.102-68. According to this standard, a certain code and name corresponds to each document type. While filling in the title blocks of KOMPAS documents, input of these codes and names can be automated.
To insert a code and the name, the Code and name... command is used. It is available in the mode of filling the title block of the document, as well as during work in the designation input dialog (see section Document designation). The command is in the Insertion menu and in the context menu.
After invoking the Code and name... command, the Codes and names dialog appears (see the figure).

In this dialog, codes and names of documents are listed and grouped into sections. To expand the section, click its row.
Specify in the list the required row and press the Select button; you can also double-click on the row with the required code and name. The dialog will close. The selected code will be inserted into the Designation column, and its matching name – into the Name column. Wherein:
•The selected code is inserted into the Code field. inside the designation, replacing any of its previous contents, if it existed.
•If the text in the column Name ends with one of the standard document names, it will be replaced with the selected name. This replacement will also occur if, after the document name in the column, there are any number of "dots" or "spaces". If the text of the column Name does not end with the standard document name, then the selected name is simply added to the content of the column.
The code inserted into designation can be separated from the characters preceding it by a space or any other character. The required character is set in the Dialog to input designation. By default, a space before the Code field is the separator. To change the separator, enter an arbitrary character into the respective field of the input designation dialog. If it is required that there be no separator before the code, delete a space from the field.

The content of the dialog Codes and names is determined by the file of codes and names — graphic.kds. By default, it is in the \Sys of the main system folder. The file format is text, therefore, if necessary, the file graphic.kds can be opened and edited in any text editor, see section. File of codes and names. |

If the designation of the document was simple before inserting the code from the dialog Codes and names, then after insertion it becomes composite. A compound designation includes several fields that store separate parts of the designation and, unlike a simple designation, is edited in a special dialog. Details... |
