In general, filling in the columns of the title block is similar to entering text into cells of a regular table.

In the graphs with standard text (Developed by, Checked by, etc.), text input and editing is disabled.

There are three ways of switching to the title block filling mode:

double-clicking the title block with the left mouse button,

running the Fill in Title Block command from the title block context menu,

running the Detailing — Title Block — Set/Modify command.

In the title block filling mode, its appearance changes — cell borders are displayed with the set text indentations.

Enter or edit the text in the graphs of the title block.

The system offers the option of semi-automatic filling in the columns of the title block. After double-clicking any column of the title block with the mouse, either a dialog for designation input, a menu where you can select the necessary line, or a calendar where you can select a date, appears on the screen. Besides, you can select the document code and name from a special dialog.

The listed options are reviewed in detail in the next sections.

In the title block editing mode, you can configure the text settings using the controls of the Main section of the Parameter Panel and insert special characters, fractions, and other objects in the text using the Insertion section controls. Working with controls on the Parameter Panel in the text mode is described in section Add Text Subprocess.

If a drawing contains associative views, the Drawing Properties section is displayed on the Parameter Panel.

The Connect to Model Properties toggle switch located in this section allows enabling or disabling the transfer of property values from the source model of associative views.

If the transfer is enabled, some fields of the title block will be automatically filled with data from the model (see section Filling the Title Block of an Associative Drawing).
In this case you can specify which properties will be transferred from the model and which will not, and select the source model for the transfer. The model is selected if the drawing contains associative views of several models.

If the transfer is disabled, then all the fields of the title block are filled manually in the drawing.

Moreover, when the Connect to model properties toggle switch is enabled, the Receive data for specification option which controls the transfer of BOM items from the model to the drawing is available on the Parameter Panel. Details...

To finish the work in the mode of editing the title block, click Create Object in the header of the Parameter Panel or the <Ctrl>+<Enter> key combination, or the mouse wheel. You can also run any other command.

If you do not need to fix a change to the title block, click Finish in the header of the Parameter Panel.

Data entered into cells of the Common for Document type is automatically transferred to other cells of the same type (including those on other sheets). Types of cells are defined during setup of the title blocks which are part of the detailing of sheets. For example, in the detailing types supplied with the system, the title blocks are configured so that the designation of a product entered into one of the sheets is transferred into Columns 26 and the Designation cells of the title blocks on all the other sheets.

The data that is different must be entered on each sheet.

The Number of Sheets and Sheet Number columns are filled in automatically and cannot be edited. If necessary, you can set a predefined number of sheets and disable auto determination of the sheet number (see section Sheet Numbering).
