To create a new library *.lat, click Show library Attribute type handling dialog .In the file selection dialog that appears, enter a yet-nonexistent name, press the Open button and confirm the creation of the . file. Active attribute type handling dialog window becomes empty, as just created library has no content yet.

If you plan to store a lot of attribute types in the library, it is advised to split them into thematic groups called sections, this will make finding necessary types in the future easier. To create a section, press the Create Section button and enter the section name in the dialog box that appears. Generate the library structure by adding sections into it.

Then create attribute types in library sections, as described above.

Sections, subsections and attribute types within are automatically sorted alphabetically.

You can merge several sections into one common section. To do this, select the sections in the list and click the button Combine into section .
