Automatic text check |
Scroll |
Automatic check is performed while editing a text object without additional actions from the user. The check program performs analysis of the text, detecting the words which may contain errors, as well as sentences or fragments thereof which presumably contain errors.
The words which presumably contain spelling errors are by default underlined with a red wavy line, and the text fragments presumably containing errors in gramma – with a green line. The text with the "Do not check" attribute is underlined with a gray wavy line (the underline color can be configured, see section Color of text elements).
Running automatic check can be enabled or disabled during configuration of the spellchecking software (see section Setting up spellcheck parameters).
To view a list of actions which the spellchecker suggests to apply to a selected word or the sentence, fetch a context menu of the underlined element.
In the case of a spelling error, this menu can be used for:
•to replace a word,
•to add the checked word to the dictionary,
•to continue checking, having refused from replacement,
•to select another check language, or the "do not check" attribute.
In case of an error in grammar, this menu is used:
•to get a description of the error
•if the description is an instruction, for example, "A comma after the word "but" is missing", then automatic correction according to the description is possible,
•if the description is a recommendation, for example, "The sentence is overladen with verbs. Try...”, then no automatic correction is possible;
•to continue check, having refused from correction.
