The spellcheck program of the KOMPAS-3D system allows to perform spellcheck of text objects in KOMPAS-Documents:
•text of the text document,
•text of a BOM object and revision table,
•text of the title block,
•text of technical specifications,
•text of captions in a leader line, leader caption, and a curly bracket,
•text on drawing,
•text in a table.
Spellcheck can be performed:
•in all the document,
•in a text object currently being edited.
There are two methods of check:
•automatic (see section Automatic text check),
•By invoking the command (see Spelling check by a command fetch).
Check by a command fetch can be applied to both the entire document and the currently edited text object.
Such text objects as text on a drawing, a leader, a leader caption, a brace, and a table, can be selected prior to fetching a command – then the check will be performed only in them. If none of the objects is selected, then all the text objects available in the document are checked.
While editing a separate text object, you can select its fragment prior to a command fetch – then only this fragment will be checked. If there are no selected fragments, the whole text object is checked entirely.
Automatic check is only available for the edited text object.
Spellcheck in various KOMPAS-Documents is described in detail in section Running the check.

During spellcheck, it is necessary to keep in mind that the program is not able to find all errors but only the most typical. Therefore, the final decision on the presence or absence of errors must be made by the user. |
