Checking text in various languages |
Scroll |
A document or object may contain texts in various languages. The check is performed according to the norms and rules of the language whose attribute was assigned to the text on input or editing.
To learn about text input in different languages, see the section Text language.
To make a check in any language possible, ensure the dictionary file for that language (*.lex) is located in the \Sys subfolder of the KOMPAS-3D main folder.
The list of language dictionaries available for use is displayed in the Language field in the Spelling section on the Parameters toolbar.
To find out which language will be used for checking the document text, the text should be selected. The language attribute is displayed in the Language field.
The empty language field means that the highlighted text contains fragments with various language attributes. The Do not check words mean that the text has no language attribute and will remain non-checked.
The language attribute can be changed. For example, the text inserted from a clipboard may not have a language attribute. To make a text undergo checking, assign a language attribute to it — select the text and choose a language in the dropdown list.
