Creation of a new additional dictionary

To create an additional dictionary, do the following actions.

1.Fetch a dialog for working with additional dictionaries.

2.Press the Create button.

3.In the dialog that appears on the screen, set a name and the location for the dictionary file. To the dictionary files, dic extensions are assigned automatically.

4.Press the Save button.

The file write dialog will close, and the name of the created file will appear in the list of the Additional dictionaries dialog. The option near the dictionary name shows if it is used during spellcheck. By default, it is enabled.

The created dictionary is an empty file. Words will be added to it during spellcheck (see section Adding words to an additional dictionary during spellcheck).

If words are added during spellcheck, they are automatically inserted into a certain dictionary – a default dictionary.

5.To assign a dictionary as the default, select its name in the list and press the By Default button.

6.Press the OK button in the Additional dictionaries dialog.

To make the spell checker address the additional dictionaries, it is necessary to disable the Suggest from main dictionary only option in the dialog for setting the spelling parameters.
