Setting up the text parameters in table |
Scroll |
Normally, text in the table header differs from the text in remaining cells by the symbol height, method of alignment, and other parameters.
When creating a new table, the user specifies the row in which the header will be located (see section New Table dialog).
The system text style Table header will be applied to the header cells, and the style Table cell – to all other cells.
If necessary, you can change the parameters of specified system styles in the current graphic or text document. To do this, run the command Settings – Parameters.... — Current Document.
In the setup object list (located in the left-hand part of the dialog that appeared), there are items Table header and Table cell. When they are selected, the controls appear on the right side of the dialog (see table Controls of the dialog for configuring the document text), allowing you to adjust the corresponding system text styles in the current document.
After closing the dialog, texts with the system style Table Header and Table Cell will be reformatted.
The applied setting will be saved in the current document and will not change when transferred to another workstation.
If most documents use the Table Header and Table Cell styles with identical parameters, then applying the respective setting in each document is not reasonable. In this case, you can set creation of all new documents with preset required settings. To do this, make the necessary settings in the document template file. More details about templates...

The Settings – Parameters... command is unavailable when the system is in the Edit Table mode. Therefore, to start the setup, it is necessary to exit this mode – click anywhere outside the table being edited. |
