To read a document in any of the imported formats, perform the following actions.
1.Invoke the Open... 
command.
2.In the File Type list of the dialog that appears, select the desired format.
3.Specify the file name.
4.When importing a document from a DXF or DWG file, the dialog offers the options Read into graphic document and Read into model, allowing you to specify the type of document being opened. Enable the option Read into graphic document.
No additional actions are required for other file formats.
5.Run the import process. To do this, click the Open button or select the Open or Open with parameters... command from this button's menu.
•For the DXF or DWG format, after pressing the Open button or invoking the Open command, the import of the graphic document starts, and after invoking the Open with parameters... command, the import parameters configuration dialog appears. After you configure the import options, click the Start Reading button in the dialog.
•For the IGES format, after pressing the Open button, invoking the Open or Open with Parameters command, a dialog appears on the screen where you need to specify the type of file to be opened. Press the Read file in IGES 2D format button. A setup dialog will appear on the screen. Set up the import settings, then click the Start Reading button.
After the import is completed, the selected document will be loaded for editing.
