Import and export of graphic documents |

When working with graphic documents in KOMPAS-3D, the following options are available:
•Interchange of graphic documents (import and export) between KOMPAS-3D and other systems is possible through formats represented in the table.

•Writing of graphic and text documents KOMPAS-3D v23 in the following formats:
•formats of the previous versions of KOMPAS-3D: KOMPAS 5.11 R03, KOMPAS-3D v21, and KOMPAS-3D v22,
•raster formats (PNG, JPEG, etc.),
•Enhanced Metafile Format (*.emf),
•Portable Document Format (*.pdf)..
Saving to bitmap, EMF and PDF formats...

As a result of export, a document of the selected format is generated which preserves the visual identity to the original. However, the structure and internal links of document objects in the KOMPAS-3D system and similar objects in the new format may differ. As an example of such objects, we can bring in detailing elements of a drawing: sizes, leader lines, etc. When editing the resulting document, the appearance of such objects may change in such a way that they lose their identity to the objects of the original document. Similar changes of objects may occur during multiple conversion of a document from the KOMPAS-3D system format into another format and vice versa. |
