Creation of a copy of recalculated model |

While working in the mode of recalculation of model dimensions, you can save a variant of the current model whose nominal dimensions are dimensions recalculates according to the current recalculation. By changing recalculation, it is possible to create several variants of a model with various dimensions – from the smallest to the maximum extreme dimensions.
To save a model with the recalculated values of dimensions, the Save recalculated model as... command is used. It is located in the menu Management – Recalculate dimensions.

After fetching the command Save recalculated model as..., a file save dialog appears on the screen. In this dialog, specify the file name and the folder to save into, then press the Save button.
During creation of a copy, the following occurs:
•objects created directly in a model take on the recalculated values of dimensions,
•for model components, the recalculation method with which they are inserted is changed (see section Recalculating dimensions of a component in an assembly); files of components on the disk do not change.
A copy of recalculated model makes no difference the model designed "from scratch", i.e. further you can work with it in a normal way.

The File – Save as command, unlike the Save recalculated model as..., saves the model without change to the nominal dimensions. |
