Enabling the mode of recalculating dimensions and working in it

Scroll

To enable the mode of recalculation of model dimensions, use the Recalculate with tolerances command.

The Recalculate based on tolerances command is unavailable on editing a component "in situ".

The Management — Recalculation of Dimensions menu contains a list of all model dimension recalculations, as well as the commands Manage Dimension Recalculation... and Save Recalculated Model As....

With the recalculation mode enabled, commands for creation of new objects and command for editing existing objects are unavailable. You can perform only the following actions:

viewing and printing a model (for info on printing, see section General information about printing documents);

measurement of geometrical (without creation of objects of "change") and mass-inertia properties of a model (see section Measurements);

creation of reports (see section Reports).

Besides, in the recalculation mode you can:

change the current recalculation (see the section Selection of the current recalculation of dimensions);

create a copy of recalculated model (see section Creation of a copy of recalculated model).

To exit the mode of recalculation of dimensions, again fetch the Recalculate based on tolerances command or click the icon of the recalculation mode in the graphic region.
