After you configured the flat pattern parameters for a sheet part, into the list of orientations of the current model, the orientation By flat pattern is added.
In the By flat pattern orientation, the model is positioned such that the view direction is perpendicular to the face or auxiliary plane selected as the view plane when configuring flat pattern parameters.
