In some operations that use sketches (for example, as sections of elements), you can create the relevant sketches, as well as edit them, without interrupting the operation. To that end, elements of the Parameters Toolbar are used.

To create a sketch, click Create Sketch . This will start the process of setting the sketch plane. After you select a plane, the system will switch to the Sketch mode for building the required image. Perform the steps necessary to build and complete the sketch mode. The system will go back to the current operation. The created sketch will appear in the Design Tree and will be selected automatically.

To edit the selected sketch, click on the icon in the field containing the name of this sketch. The system will switch to the sketch mode. Make the necessary changes to the sketch and complete the sketch mode. The system will go back to the current operation.
In extrusion operations, to edit the sketch selected as a section, it is required to select the sketch name in the Section field and press the Edit button next to the field. If the section is a region or several regions in the sketch, then select the region name and click the Edit button.

If a sketch that is part of a component is selected for an operation when working with an assembly, then editing the sketch is not available.
