Selecting a flat object to place a sketch |

The flat object on which the sketch is constructed is specified in sketch placement process for On plane 
method.
Specify a planar object defining the sketch plane in the graphic area or in the Design Tree.
•coordinate plane,
•flat face (indicated only in the graphic area).
The selected object will be highlighted, its name will appear in the Base Plane field. A sketch coordinate system will be shown on the screen using a placement element 
.
If there is no suitable flat object in the model, you can build the desired plane without interrupting the process of placing the sketch. To do this, click the Create Plane 
button next to the Base Plane field. The plane creation subprocess will start. Perform the required building steps and finish the plane creation. The created plane will be automatically selected as the sketch plane.
