Fixing the Current Position of the Sketch |

Fixing the sketch plane is performed in the sketch placement process using the following method.
Place the sketch inside the model, selecting flat object for it or specifying the path, and click Fixed 
in the Tracing mode group. The sketch will retain its position in space, but its link with the flat object/trajectory will be broken. Elements for placing the sketch plane and specifying the position of the sketch coordinate system will no longer be displayed on the Parameter Panel.

The specified parameters for placing a sketch will not be deleted when the sketch is fixed. You can revert to using these parameters by enabling the corresponding construction method: On the plane |
.If the sketch placement parameters are not specified, then its position is fixed at the origin of the model coordinate system. The sketch will be constructed on the XY plane.
