Control of changes to the source of the imported component |

If the imported component retains connection to the source (interchange file format), you can get information about changes to the source model. To do this, use the Follow the source option. You can enable/disable this option when adding imported component or edit its properties. In the former case it is located in the Linked to the source section, while in the latter case it is in the Source section.
•If this option is enabled, an icon 
appears next to the component's name in the Design Tree when the geometry and/or properties of the source model change, and if the source file is lost, the component is marked as erroneous in the Design Tree.
•If this option is disabled, the changes to the source model are not tracked, and there is no error sign in the Design Tree if the source file is lost.
