Tangency of selected curves is set using the Tangency
.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Specify two curves you want to set as tangent.
|
When working with a drawing please note that all the parameterized objects must belong to the same view. |
If the existing constraints do not prevent tangency of the specified objects, then the image will be rebuilt, and after that these objects (or their continuations) will become tangent. One object may have several constraints applied: constraint Tangency.
|
When applying the tangent constraint to a spline, please note the following features: •the point of the spline tangency with another curve is the point in which the spline was specified, •if the point of tangency is required to be the final point of the spline, before applying the constraint you should place this point on the curve which should be tangent with the spline (applying the constraint point on the curve is not mandatory). |
2.To complete the command, click Finish
.
Additional features for applying constraints...
Constraint Tangency can automatically arise during construction of objects in parametric mode. For this, the Setting up the parametric mode In the list Parameterize, the option Tangency should be enabled. The constraint will appear when building tangent objects by any method.
Constraints are displayed in the graphic area in the constraint view mode. Tangency is indicated by a symbol
