Collinearity of selected objects is set by the Collinearity
command.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Specify the objects you want to set as collinear. Such objects can be segments, centerlines, auxiliary lines, break lines, straight coordinate axes.
|
When working with a drawing please note that all the parameterized objects must belong to the same view. |
If the existing constraints do not prevent parametrization of the selected objects, then these objects will be placed the following way:
•after setting two segments as collinear, they are located on the same straight line,
•after setting a segment and a straight line as collinear, the segment is located on this straight line,
•after setting two straight lines as collinear, they coincide.
The Collinear constraint is applied to objects.
2.To finish execution of the command, press Finish
button.
Additional features for applying constraints...
Constraint Collinearity can automatically arise when constructing objects in parametric mode. For this, the Setting up the parametric mode In the list Parameterize, the Snaps option must be enabled. The constraint will appear when you divide the segment into two or more new segments, for example, with the use of commands truncation or Splitting.
Constraints are displayed in the graphic area in the constraint preview mode. Collinearity is indicated by the icon
.
