Creating a report on array with a table of modifiable variables

Scroll

To create an array report with a table of modifiable variables, do the following.

1.Open the model that contains the array with the table of modifiable variables (for more details on the table, see section Table of modifiable variables).

2.Call the Create an array report command on the Reports and Properties panel.

3.Specify the relevant array in the Design Tree or in the graphic area.

It is impossible to select an array without modifiable variable table.

The selected array will be highlighted. Name of the selected array will be displayed in Array field on the Parameter Panel.

After selecting the array, on the screen appears Dialog for setting parameters Array report tables.

To reselect an array for report creation, close report table parameters configuration dialog and select the required array. After array selection the report table parameters configuration dialog displays again.

Array for report creation may be also selected before invoking a command. In this case to open the report table parameters configuration dialog, press the Settings... button on the Parameter Panel.

4.Configure array report table parameters.

5.Using the Associative report parameter, enable or disable creation of an associative link between report being created and source document (model).

If the parameter is enabled, report being created gets an associative link with source document. Changes in the source document (in the table of modifiable variables) will be reproduced in the report.

If the parameter is disabled, report is created without an associative link with source document. In this case changes made to source document are not replicated in the created report.

Associative report option is present on Parameter Panel when creating array report provided that source document has been saved to file on the disk. When editing a report this option is absent on the Parameter Toolbar.

Associative report for the array should be placed in a graphic document. When placed in a text document, no associative relation between the report and the source document is created.

6.You can enable automatic numbering for report tables. To do this, select the name of a numbering group from the list of Numbering on the Parameters toolbar (for numbering details see section). Auto-numbering and auto-sorting of objects).

7.Set up the table detailing Array reports.

8.To complete creation of the report, press the Create Object .

Document selection dialog or standard file opening dialog appear. Select the relevant graphic or text file.

Place a phantom of report table in the graphic document. To do this, specify snap point placement with mouse cursor or by entering coordinates on Parameter Toolbar, then click with left mouse button to fix the table. If needed, you can set the table name, see section Names and numbering of tables.

In a text document a report table is placed automatically.
