The BOM Name is the text above the BOM table located on the sheet. The BOM name may consist of several lines. The text of the name is entered by the user. If the BOM is split into several sheets, you can set different names for the first sheet and the next sheets of the BOM.

The name can be entered only for the BOM placed in the drawing.

To set the name of the BOM, you can use the following commands:

•Management — BOM — BOM on Sheet — Name...
This command allows defining the name of the BOM of the current style.

•Name... from the context menu of the table.
This command allows defining the name of the BOM for which it was run.

In the dialog that appears after running the command, enter the name of the table(s). More details about table names...

The name of the BOM is set for a specific style of BOM and is stored in the drawing.

The distance from the BOM to the name is the same for all BOM tables displayed on the sheet, by default it is 5 mm. It is configured in the dialog for setting the BOM name parameters on the sheet. In this dialog, you can also set the default parameters of the name text.
