Auxiliary Projection of the Model Object |
Scroll |
An auxiliary projection of a model object is created in the sketch automatically if you work in the parametric mode.
|
If the parametric mode in the sketch is disabled, or when parameterization of snaps is disabled during its setup, auxiliary projections are not created during snapping and no constraints are applied to the built objects. |
A projection is automatically created when snapping to a model objectand when using a model object as a base for a sketch object.
The auxiliary projection is present in the sketch as long as it participates in any parametric connections. If the last connection imposed on the auxiliary projection is deleted, then this projection will be automatically deleted after the sketch is closed.
For example, when specifying the position of the first vertex of the segment, the snapping was made to the center of a circular edge. As a result, an auxiliary projection of an edge (a circle or an ellipse) was created in the sketch; its center and the vertex of the segment were constrained by the Point Coincidence constraint. Further, the first vertex of the segment needed to be moved to another point, and thus the constraint was deleted. If there are no other constraints on the auxiliary projection, this projection will be deleted when exiting the sketch mode .
