When you open a BOM document, the system checks whether the documents attached to the BOM and its items contain changes that should be reflected in the BOM.

If such changes are found, a prompt to rebuild the BOM will appear on the screen.

If you click "Yes", the rebuild process will be started. Data will be extracted from attached documents and displayed in the BOM table.

If you click "No", the rebuild process will be canceled. The BOM will be opened as it was last saved, but it will be crossed out with dotted lines, meaning that rebuilding is required. You can still work with the BOM (for example, you can add items); dotted lines will not be printed.

In the future, rebuilding can be initiated at any time using the Rebuild command .

A request to rebuild a BOM may occur not only when opening a BOM, but also in the process of working with the BOM if any of the documents attached to the BOM were changed, and these changes need to be reflected in the BOM.
