Setting up the spelling parameters is performed in the Spelling parametersdialog.
The dialog appears on the screen after fetching the Settings — Parameters... — System — Text Editor — Spelling parameters command, or pressing the Parameters button in the Orthographydialog.
Spelling is checked for all languages, and grammar – only for Russian.

Automatically check spelling |
The option allows to enable automatic spellcheck (see section Automatic text check). The words which presumably contain errors will be underlined in the text with a wavy line. By default, color of the line is red. |

Suggest from main dictionary only |
The option allows to disable use of auxiliary dictionaries (see section Dictionaries) when displaying the correct writing variants. |

Ignore words in uppercase |
The option allows to ignore words consisting of capital characters during the spellcheck. |

Ignore words with numbers |
The option allows to ignore words, consisting of characters and numbers during spellcheck. |

Ignore ratios, sub/superscript and overlines |
The option allows to ignore ratios, sub/superscript and overlines during spellcheck. |

Ignore Internet and file addresses |
The option allows to ignore Internet, email address and file names during spellcheck. |

Dictionaries... |
The button allowing to perform various operations with auxiliary dictionaries, for example, to create, edit, etc. After clicking this button, a dialog Additional dictionaries appears on the screen. |

The option allows to enable automatic grammar checking (see section Automatic text check). Sentences or their parts presumably containing errors will be underlined in the text with a wavy line. By default, the color of the line is green. |

Settings... |
The button allows to configure the settings of grammar check. After fetching the command, the Setting up grammar checking dialog appears on the screen. |

To complete setup of spellcheck, press the OK button. To close the dialog and discard the changes made, press the Cancel button.
