After specifying a face for hole creation, its name will be displayed in the Surface field in the Parameters toolbar. The point at which the surface is specified is the center of the created hole. You can use one of the following methods to set the position of the center.

Drag the center of the hole to the desired position using the mouse.

Expand the Location section and select a center positioning option in the Displacement group. The controls and the sequence of actions are the same as when plotting a point on a surface. The following methods are available.

By the displacements of two objects: enter the displacements of a point from the specified objects in the fields Distance 1 and Distance 2. Details...

By coordinates on a plane: select the type of coordinates – rectangular or polar – and set their values. Details...

By U and V parameters: set the U and V parameters of the theoretical surface of the face. Details...

Set the point object in the Design Tree or in the graphics area. A point closest to the selected object will be found on the face. The name of the point object will appear in the Snap point field at the top of the Parameters toolbar.
To delete the link with the point object, click the "x" icon in the Snap point.

In any method of specifying the center position, the Consider boundaries option is available. If it is enabled, then the center of the hole can be located only within the face, and if this option is disabled, then the center can be located both within the face and beyond faces.
