Checking threaded joints |
Scroll |
You can check coincidence of thread parameters in a threaded joint. To that end, the option Machining threads must be enabled on the Parameters Panel.
If the check detects inconsistency of thread parameters, a row with the table of Results A row with the collision type Thread will appear on the Parameter Panel. In cell Value, the type of error is specified. This may be:
•Depth - incorrect thread connection depth (the intersection area of the components extends beyond the thread dimensions).
•Diameter — mismatch of nominal thread diameters (for example, the bolt diameter is smaller than the hole diameter).
•Step — mismatch of thread pitches of the connected components.
•Direction — mismatch of thread directions (left-hand, right-hand) in the components of the threaded connection.
•Thread type — the thread types of the threaded connection components do not match (the error can be detected if the history of the components' construction is saved in the model).

If the Machining threads option is disabled, the threaded connection is displayed in the Results table with the collision type Intersection. |
