In this case, the setting of the following parameters is available: output color, output with thin lines, an alternative method for outputting fills and bitmaps, model printing precision.

Description of Controls

Name

Description

Number of Copies

Field to enter the number of printed copies of documents included in the preview set.

Collate

The option, the inclusion of which means that when saving several copies of an image placed on several pages of print, all the pages of the first copy, then all the pages of the second copy, and so on will be printed sequentially.

With this option disabled, all the first pages of the copies will be printed first, then all the second pages, and so on.

Print to File

Switching on this option will make output not to the printing device (printer or plotter), but to the file with the prn extension. At the same time, the file contains a sequence of output device control commands necessary for printing the specified image.

If the printer is set to print to a file (in the Port column selected option is FILE), then the Print to File option turns on automatically and becomes unavailable, i.e. its disabling is not possible.

Output Color

The list allows you to select the option of using colors when printing a document.

Select all options except option black only makes sense when outputting a color image to a color device.

black

When this option is selected, all lines and text are printed in black, and fills and raster images are shades of gray.

set for view

When this option is selected, objects located in different types are printed with colors set for these types.

set for layer

When this option is selected, objects located on different layers are printed with colors set for these layers.

set for object

When this option is selected, the lines are printed with the colors set for them in the system settings, fill and shading dialog — the colors set when they were created.

Images of three-dimensional objects are printed with colors set when setting properties of these objects in.

Print with Thin Lines

An option, the inclusion of which means that all lines will have a thickness set for thin lines in the system settings dialog. The default value is 0.18 mm.

The state of this option does not affect the thickness of the lines of the font.

Alternative method to output fills and bitmaps

If the result of printing fills to which transparency is applied, and raster images inserted into the document with transparent areas do not look satisfactory, it is recommended to enable this option. If the print quality of the fills and rasters remains unsatisfactory, it is recommended to output the document in raster format and print the resulting image.

Alternate method to output black and white rasters

If the result of printing black-and-white raster images inserted into a graphic document looks unsatisfactory, it is recommended to enable this option. If the print quality of the rasters remains unsatisfactory, it is recommended to output the document in raster format and print the resulting image.

Model Printing Precision

Element allows you to change the accuracy of the output image of the model to the printer.

To edit the printing precision, move the slider between the Rough and Fine positions. Decreasing the output accuracy decreases the resolution of the model raster image transmitted to the printer. The higher the accuracy, the smoother the image looks and the more memory is required to process it.

When printing large images, you may experience problems with memory overflow from your computer or printer.

In cases where difficulties arise when printing halftone images of models of large sizes or complex shapes, it is recommended to reduce the accuracy of the output.

Snap to Page Nodes

If this option is enabled, when moving sheets, they are Snap to output device page nodes.

If the option is disabled, the snapping is not performed.

You can enable and disable snapping to page nodes without opening the print settings dialog using the Snap to Page Nodes the toolbar panel.

Leave gap in case of snapping to sheet angles and their autopositioning

If this option is enabled, then binding the corners of the sheets to each other, adding sheets to the preview and executing the Close and align sheets command is made with a gap specified in the field Gap between sheets, mm.

If the option is disabled, the gap while binding equals zero.

You can enable and disable the gap without opening the print settings dialog using the Leave gap between sheets on the toolbar panel.

Radius of Page Node Sensitivity Zone, %

The radius of the “sensitivity zone” of a page node as a percentage of the length of the short side of a page.

A sheet whose angle falls into the “sensitivity zone” of a node can be automatically aligned with this node.

Gap between sheets, mm

Gap size (in millimeters) between the sides of the sheets.

Scale of printing documents

By Default

The field for entering the scale, which will be used by default for all documents opened in view mode and added to this mode. Later, you can The printing scale for each individual sheet of the document can be modified..

Autofit when switching to preview

This option includes Autofit scale of document sheets. Auto-fitting is performed the next time you log in to view documents and add other documents to the view.

Order of printing pages

Varieties of page display order. The output diagram corresponding to each of the options is shown in the icon.

This setting allows you to relate the location of pages on the preview field and the sequence of their printing. Setting the print order makes sense if the output field consists of more than one page.

To take effect of the settings and close the dialog, click OK.

If the print color has been changed or if the Print With Thin Lines option has been switched, the image will be redrawn. If you change the default scale, it will only impact new documents when you add them to the preview. Already opened documents won’t be affected.

If you have enabled printing to file, then after you run the Print command, a dialog will appear where you would need to set the name and path of the file.

To close the dialog without applying the settings you’ve made, click Cancel.
