Description of setting

Customizable Tree appearance

The group of options allows to select a method of displaying objects in the Design Tree — Structure Display (see section Structural Representation of the Design Tree) or Display the sequence of creating (see section Setting Design Tree Display).

The selected method defines the customizable tree appearance, i.e. A method which will be saved on closing the file and used on its subsequent opening.

Group components

The option allows for the classification of components in the Tree structure into groups based on type — Assembly units, Parts, Library elements, Local components, Stock products.

Empty groups are not displayed. A group appears in the Tree after creation of the first object of the respective type.

At the first opening of a model created in KOMPAS-3D V8 Plus or an earlier version of the system, the method of Displaying the Tree set by default will be used.

The same method of display is accepted as the customizable Tree appearance. If necessary, you can change the customizable Tree appearance.

After saving the model in KOMPAS-3D V9 and later versions, information about the saved Tree View will be recorded in the file of this model and will be applied on its subsequent opening.

If the model is not saved, then on subsequent opening of this model the method of Displaying the Tree set for new models will be used again.

Upon completion of the Tree setup, press the OK button.

Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
